Hi Robin,
Thanks for that, I'll try it, but the problem with the clock only
affects my home PC, my work machine is ok,and is running the same
version of JAWS.
Cheers

Dave,
Click start, then alt enter for properties and the task bar and start
menu options will appear.
In the task bar tab, I have the clock unchecked in the notification
area... As well as the hide inactive icons.
Hth, Robin

Hi all,
As you can tell from the subject title, JAWS is being silly again.
In one of my Word documents, I have at the start of a line, the
following:
SR1.Day, which as written in this email is pronounced, Sierra, Romeo, 1,
Day.
But in Word it is pronounced Sierra, Romeo, 1, spasm typing, warv space,
period, Day. and is damn annoying!
This is on my work PC, my home PC keeps announcing the time, every time
the clock changes! so every damn minute!
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve the above issues?
My solution would be to plug the PC's into a 415 Volt supply! But then
life wouldn't be as much fun, would it.
Nurse, more Vallium please.
Cheers
Regards
Dave Ankers
