[jaws-uk] Robin clayton Volume control

Thank you so much for your very comprehensive answer I will send it on to
Andrew Hodgeson. He will know how well it would have helped the problem we
had. The laptop was new and I kept losing the sound thinking I had
muted the sound. I once did this mistake, and was told it was not a toggle
and had to get a sighted person in. Seems daft to me not to be a toggle
but the person who told me knew his onions so to speak. I will record off
your Email and also print it and scan into my OCR. Then listen to it
and take it in a bit at a time. . Once the patch was sent the Sound didn't
vanish. However if I do mute it accident I will have a stab at some your
suggestions I am using the laptop now cheating ,using a full key board and
the Toshiba lap top a bit at a time. Using Lunar to colour the pages to
black inverse mode. . . I also have a ThinkPad plug in for kurzweil, so
scarcely ' cables away' still one step at a time A Volunteer from RNIB is
coming this afternoon to try and sort out why the desktop will get
messages in but not out. I think it was all OK before the memory went on I
think also it maybe that spite of the Freeserve Website it does matter if
you like myself a Freeserve or up used it before Wannadoo ,think the Pop
that is pop in and the other one which is out are set identically on both.
Tony Berry who has gone on holiday said it doesn't matter but Phill, says
it does and he uses Freeserve. Unfortunately the rNib chap like Tony
does not know Jaws Ps trying to say the laptop goes via the Wireless
Router the desktop is I think wired into the router, and the server in and
the server out shoulder identical on both. If that doesn't fix it shall
have to think again.
however we shall manage I hope. Watch this space. Dorothy
