thanks for your earlier comments.

My I.T. Adviser is still a little confused.

Do we have to install JAWS 6  onto the server and lap top?

Does the additional £125 module have to be installed onto the server
only, and that avails the ability of the lap top to 'look' at the
server, or does the server then download the relevant parts of JAWS to
the lap top?

Does the server need to have a sound card installed on it - I guess so?
If so, what cards are compatible with JAWS 6 and Windows 2003
enterprise.

We have had problems with network cards and don't want to pursue the
same tortuous route with sound cards!
