from what i have read jaws ten now has a 64 bit v you need to go to the
website to download it jaws will know what one to download i think or maybe
its just from the disc that it will install the right one

Hi list,
 
A friend of mine, who is not very computer literate, has just purchased a
new computer and being helped by an RNIB volunteer.  The computer is running
Vista and she also has Jaws 10 professional.
 
When the volunteer tried to install Jaws it came up with a message that this
version of Jaws could not run with Vista as it was a 64 bit machine.
 
She has been in touch with Sight & Sound who said that Vista would work fine
with her version of Jaws but no mention was made about bits.  Her enquiry
was made before she knew about the bits problem.
 
She wants to know if Vista can be removed and replaced by XP?  Any advice or
information would be appreciated.
