Hello Brian,
I have tried following your instructions, but to no avail!...I went to alt V
and when I type A, I go straight out of the menu bar.
Help!...
May I wish you a very Happy and peaceful New Year.
Regards,
Shirley (UK)

Dear Shirley and list:
While running Outlook Express, do the following:
alt V for the View Menu then a for arrange by then d for date order. If
you don't like the way the list of e-mail is sorted, then click on the word
received in the subject received line above and to the right of the first
message listed.
