Mark, I don't think it should be a memory problem as I have 1 gb of RAM, but it's interesting that another model of Braille display doesn't have the same problem. I wonder whether FS re-wrote the driver for the PowerBraille which is included with Jaws 6.2. I will have to check the dates of the relevant Braille drivers, and might replace the one which ships with 6.2 with the one from 6.1 if I find they are different. The one from Jaws 6.1 works absolutely fine. Thanks, Caroline. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Mark Smith Sent: 08 August 2005 09:58 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: PowerBraille with Jaws 6.2 This is interesting Caroline, I am using a Handy Tech 80 braille display with Jaws 6.2 and had no problem. I wonder if it may be a RAM or some kind of memory problem with your PC?
