Yes, this does in fact work, but it's a much slower way of getting where I
want to.

I would really like to know why, using the method already outlined by me,
the mouse gets in the way. It's a pain.

Hi Keith,

Try this:
1 Press windows key and the letter E. This should bring up windows explorer.
2 Press the tab key once, this should put you in the list of drives.
3 Press the letter of the drive you want to go to and press the enter key.
this should put you on that drive, starting at the top of the list of
folders.
