First the add/remove programs thing - what it tells you is utter
rubbish. Mine says I rarely use Jaws.

I'm sure Internet Explorer has the option of blocking pop-ups, and I
think it's on by default, but if you want more information on that, I'm
sure I, or someone else, will find it.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Popup Blockers?

Please can anyone explain just what a pop up blocker is? do they arrive

with Windows updates or some other way? Additionally although I
shouldn't
mix topics I have looked at control Panel add and remove and it told me
which items had been used "rarely or often, Now I don't know how
accurate
this is meant to be, but if I believed it would appear items I use
frequently have not been used since 2006, which is very strange. I had
the
Hd failure in that spring but that would be a commence date I have
decided
the information is not accurate thanks Dorothy
