First the add/remove programs thing - what it tells you is utter rubbish. Mine says I rarely use Jaws. I'm sure Internet Explorer has the option of blocking pop-ups, and I think it's on by default, but if you want more information on that, I'm sure I, or someone else, will find it. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dorothy Ingram-Gorban Sent: 28 April 2008 00:49 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Popup Blockers? Please can anyone explain just what a pop up blocker is? do they arrive with Windows updates or some other way? Additionally although I shouldn't mix topics I have looked at control Panel add and remove and it told me which items had been used "rarely or often, Now I don't know how accurate this is meant to be, but if I believed it would appear items I use frequently have not been used since 2006, which is very strange. I had the Hd failure in that spring but that would be a commence date I have decided the information is not accurate thanks Dorothy ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq No virus found in this incoming message.
