[jaws-uk] Popup Blockers?

Please can anyone explain just what a pop up blocker is? do they arrive with Windows updates or some other way? Additionally although I shouldn't mix topics I have looked at control Panel add and remove and it told me which items had been used "rarely or often, Now I don't know how accurate this is meant to be, but if I believed it would appear items I use frequently have not been used since 2006, which is very strange. I had the Hd failure in that spring but that would be a commence date I have decided the information is not accurate thanks Dorothy
