Hi.
I have seen this thread wandering across 3 lists now and while I think I get
your questions dorothy it would be good if you could check the accuracy of
your english before sending out messages as sometimes trying to decipher
them is a real puzzle. It really can make finding the solution somewhat of
a challenge.
Anyway, the consensus across most lists is that if you have 2 machines
receiving emails from the same provider, and they are set up as default, you
will find that the machine that downloads the emails also deletes them from
the server so you will not have them on both machines.
download them from one machine only or set up a second account that you can
send important messages to while discarding the rest.
Cheers
Graham

Phil, I think I need an tablet for my head ache, I get the idea but of
course I have not any idea of the set up. Andrew Hodgeson did my Desktop
after that terrible Drive failure which happened in march- day after
Defrag!
I know he set up so well, Laptop is a bit of a mishmash as Tony Berry and
others all had a go at it. I have only used it since last November
due to the thing a Toshiba having a sound flaw needing a patch. It had
stuff exported over put on CD, not floppy it doesn't have floppy. It does
have Kurzweil. if you mean what really matters is 1 Area only and that is
how Outlook Express is set up,that shouldn't be too hard? There no other
eyes around here and not likely to be now. This morning a Sighted friend did
call in and in spite of KAb telling me no scripts we got on Adaware and also
scripts and we did a full system scan on both You have to run it Manually.
It did not take too long. I left the laptop and came to desktop. Brian my
friend said it was well I forget the number of files..He said it had found
8 Objects. Phil what does itmean by objects? Should it not say what the
object is. If I have to do it manually once a week, linking 1 Cursor to
another may give me some information. It does with AVG. sorry to have
wondered off the point, I think I find out how long the laptop holds
things? Now Phil your Answer of the 22 in the early hours was not there but
nine were. I looked in the Spam box. But for George some information to
read my mail I wouldn't know. By the way friend tried to make a folder for
another list to come in directly he practised at home he did he said same
here but when he had gone home I saw he had merely made a Subfolder. I can
do that I needed Emails to come in automatically as this list does into it
own folder. Now Phil I have given you a headache. Sorry. Dorothy
