I have found switching off the PC cursor (JAWS key +z), bringing up the links list and selecting the listen live link is working every time after installing the latest Real player. It's a bit of a nuisance but it does work.

Hi all,

An update. I've tried installing the latest (free) RealPlayer together
with the latest Flash Player from Adobe, all to no avail.The Iplayer
launches but no sound is produced. FireFox is another kettle of fish
aas the Iplayer is still working fine there.

I'm probably going to roll back to IE7 subject to any further
suggestions from the List.
