Hi Kevin

This is probably a red herring, but when I got my new PC (XP Pro) I found I got
that little noise a lot when trying to open some links and then nothing, the
link would not open. For some strange reason, the link would open however if I
used the JAWS Cursor and clicked on the link with the left mouse button on the
keyboard. Just give it a try, may or may not work.

Subject: [jaws-uk] PROBLEMS IN STREAMING TITLES FROM WWW.AUDIBLE.CO.UK

  Good afternoon,

I am experiencing difficulties in using Windows Media Player to streem
Audible titles. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and Jaws (version 9).

On clicking on "stream title" I hear a beep which appears to indicate that
something is being blocked and streaming fails to happen.

I've added www.audible.co.uk to the list of sites which Pop Up Blocker should
allow pop ups from. In addition Zone Alarm has been configured so as to allow
Audible Manager and Windows Media Player to access the internet and run
normally.

I have no problem in downloading titles to my PC but would appreciate your
assistance in resolving the problems outlined above as regards streaming.

In particular do any other Jaws users experience problems when using Windows
Vista Home Premium? When using Windows XP (on my desktop) I have no problems in
using the Audible site.

  Many thanks,

  Kevin
