[jaws-uk] PC lagging.

Hi all,

Going back maybe six months ago, and sorry, my network only allow us one months
storage, I think it might have been Carol Pearson posted a thread on how after
several hours of use, her pc slowed right down. I remember something about
checking the details in the task manager window, but not sure what to look for.

I seem to recall some theory about jaws increasing the resource meter for some
reason. Anyone remind me what this was about, as I suspect this may be hitting
me.

I just feel that come mid afternoon, and I've been online since before 9
o'clock, that things just seem to slow down, and the Outlook window locks up on
me sometimes. So far though, I haven't had to re boot, nor has the machine gone
into restart itself either. Here's some of the pc spec for anyone who might
have some clues?

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (build 2600)

Dell Computer Corporation OptiPlex GX270
2.60 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Bus Clock: 800 megahertz

Memory Modules c,d
41.05 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
34.55 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space - Status: Healthy
  510 Megabytes Installed Memory
Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller [Display adapter]

Any help, much appreciated as always.
