[jaws-uk] Re: Out-of-Office Automatic Replies

Matty,

        Most mailing lists are setup so that only the person sending the
message receives the out of office reply. In years gone by, everyone on the
list would receive a copy of the out of office email, which cluttered up the
list no end.

        It simply means that Paul is out of the office for the time being
and will be back at some point, when he'll be able to read your email to the
list.

Hi list,

I replied to Paul Roberts message and received the following Out-of-Office
Automatic Reply to me as an individual rather than through the list, can
anyone tell me why?  Earlier this week I received the same message in
response to a message I sent to the list from work.  Any ideas:-
