You got who it was from, the list, subject of message and date.
I can still get this with jaws 7 so obviously, could just switch to that,
but, wondered what prob was.

I wonder if I can help you,
While not being very technical, I am using the latest version of Jaws 8
and when I replicate the keystrokes you refer to, (arrowing down a list
holding down the shift key), I can see with my limited sight that this is
selecting messages, and it speaks exactly what you said it does.
Just out of interest, what was the same action doing in previous versions?
