Hi David, Many thanks for your experiences. I'd really like to get to grips with this, so may well give it a try. I do have a folder in the Windows folder called Java, so I guess I must have it. Thanks again. However, with Jaws 7.10 I began to get real problems. I don't use the Halifax and it may well work perfectly but if it doesn't I would suggest that you switch on the "Legacy" function under html options in Configuration Manager. You will find it in the "Misc" section. Do that or use Jaws 7.0. Apparently, it is something to do with Freedom Scientific preparing for later developments and the "Legacy" function allows the software to operate like older versions of Jaws. Well, it's something like that! As for Java, I would have thought it was already in your system if you've got XP. I was wondering if anyone has had experience of on-line banking with the Halifax. I should say that I have never used on-line banking of any sort, but would like to get to grips with it. I noticed on a demo screen of the Halifax that Java is required. And this really prompts my writing. I must confess to not knowing anything about Java. other than it is some sort of programming language, I think, smile. Is Java used on other bank sites, I wonder, and how does Jaws cope with it, please? Any reassurance would be very much appreciated.
