in this case you really do need to give us a bit more information.  what sites 
are causing the problem?  Thrown off, that's not a verry clear term so could 
you explain a little more?  does Internet Explorer totally shut down? do you 
need to alt tab back to it? if you don't seem to be on the intern et any more 
what happens when you use JAWS key with T to get the ;page title?

    you could do with being more specific, next time this happens though try 
alt n to see if this brings up the information bar.
    also try going to add/remove programs in control pannel and make sure there 
is no tool bar.  toolbars you have installed could include AIM toolbar, Google 
Toolbar and Yahoo toolbar.  These often have built in pop up blockers.

      Hi, Folks,

      Would anyone be able to help please? On many audio sites I just can't get 
on now because there is a horrid sound and I'm returned to the site I left.

      I have obviously downloaded some form of blocker but can't find it in 
add/remove programs.

      Could anyone make suggestions please? I couldn't find a Google toolbar or 
any toolbar come to that.
