There is definitely no toolbar mentioned in the add/removed programs.

I can't even use alt n because I am thrown off immediately.

I'll try the add ons one by one and see if that helps.

  you could do with being more specific, next time this happens though try alt 
n to see if this brings up the information bar.
  also try going to add/remove programs in control pannel and make sure there 
is no tool bar.  toolbars you have installed could include AIM toolbar, Google 
Toolbar and Yahoo toolbar.  These often have built in pop up blockers.

    Hi, Folks,

    Would anyone be able to help please? On many audio sites I just can't get 
on now because there is a horrid sound and I'm returned to the site I left.

    I have obviously downloaded some form of blocker but can't find it in 
add/remove programs.

    Could anyone make suggestions please? I couldn't find a Google toolbar or 
any toolbar come to that.
