Make sure you uncheck the checkbox to automatically sign onto widnows
messenger on the Genral options tab in the options for Outlook
Express. Also uncheck "start when widnows starts" in windows mesenger itself.

Hi, Folks,
For some reason Windows Messenger is appearing in the system tray,
saying "Not Signed In".
Can anyone please tell me where to find it so that I can disable the thing?
Thank you.
Best wishes,
Joan.
