To the best of my knowledge yese Vodafone are still installing Talks for
free for contract customers. You are correct most of the staff at the call
centres no nothing about Talks and sometimes the people in store are just
as bad but if in your store they don't know get them to phone and find out
would suggest if possible go in on a week day so if they need to phone you
will get an answer rather than having to go badck.
Also remember Vodafone licence is for a standard version of Talks (suites me
fine) but there are some features you don't get with Talks and it doesn't
have Zooms.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Ismail.

Do you know if Vodafone are still doing it for free if you're on a contract?
I've tried phoning them, but the people at the call centre hadn't even heard
of TALKS! I really hope it's still free for contract. That's the only
bloody reason I decided to go for a contract this time round.
Looks like I'll have to go into my local store and try and explain to them
exactly what talks is. What joy and fun.

If you want Vodafone to install talks you have to take it in to a store and
they have to send it away.
Even if you download talks and install it yourself Vodafone will still have
to send it away.
Hope this helps.

Ismail.

Sorry folks for the off topic query, but I'm hoping someone might be able to
help.
I've just got a new Nokia N96 phone. It's on a contract with Vodafone, and
I know you can get TALKS free with a contract, but: Firstly, is there a way
to get TALKS off my other phone onto this one or, is there a way to get it
without having to send it away to get it installed? I think I heard
somewhere you can download it. Any ideas?
