Hi Billy,
My guess is, without a script, you'd have to do ALT Space, X when you had a
message open. If the maximized state wasn't remembered, you'd have to do
this each time.
If you like, I could look into writing a script which would maximise the
window for you.

They are in separate windows. so you can delete a message from the inbox,
but if you've still got it open, it will still be there to read till you
shut it off.

I believe the main OE window which contains your Inbox, Outbox etc, is
separate to the actual window the message is displayed in. Therefore,
maximizing the main Window won't help if you want the message Window
automatically in this state. I stand corrected here though if this isn't the
case.

Modi, I did what you suggested, but I'm afraid, it didn't work, the email
messages are still opening in normal mode. I went back in to OE, and the
Maximised option was still selected. Are you sure its not something to do
