[jaws-uk] Normal Memory Usage for JAWS 6

Hi All,

I followed most of the thread about the possible memory leak in JAWS 6, but
hadn't noticed the problem myself until yesterday, when JAWS began to crash on
a fairly regular basis, usually when swapping between multiple instances of
Internet Explorer. I hadn't noticed any significant slowing of response from
JAWS, but have started to check the memory allocation in the Win2K task manager
for the JAWS process. On a couple of occasions, it reached 20MB, though this
wasn't constant, and it did drop back later. It was about 12MB when I started
JAWS this morning.

I realise that the symptoms of a memory leak would usually be a steady increase
in memory usage, but wondered what the average memory allocation for a healthy
instance of JAWS 6 should be.

Has anyone got any figures for this?

Regards,

Tim Pennick
