Amro,
Actually, after I posted the question to the list, I managed to persuade my
wife to give me a hand to investigate this a bit more.
After several convoluted attempts, we seem to have managed to get into a
bunch of settings where we have been able to activate a more accessible
interface including menus etc. It's not perfect by any means as it doesn't
speak the name of the menus but does speak the items on the drop downs.
The problem now is remembering how we got into i!!!
As far as I can remember it was something like:
1. Single click on "Display: Standard Mode" (though I think you can toggle
to Advanced Mode using Control+M. Pressing Control+M toggles back to
Standard Mode. Each time you toggle, the displayed text at the bottom of
the screen shows which mode you've changed to.
2. Use your Jaws cursor to find the "Setup" button which is around 3 or 4
lines up from the bottom of the screen and just above (as far as Jaws is
concerned) an item labelled "Tools" and "Help and Support". Single click on
this text.
3. This then displays an option called something like "Enter entire
Advanced Set Up Tree" near the bottom of the screen, just above the item
saying "Display: Advanced Mode".
4. Single click on this option using the Jaws cursor and it should then
display the full tree of advanced options.
5. You will probably be on the item called "Anti Virus and Anti Spyware" -
if so, close this branch of the tree with left cursor and then move down the
list to find an option called "User Interface".
6. Press Tab to move over into the dialogue box containing a number of
options to do with the way the information is displayed. Tab around the
dialogue box and set the appropriate options using the spacebar as
appropriate.
Sorry to have posed the question and then discover the answer myself but
hopefully this might help some of you to avoid losing some hair!! (Smile)
Jamie

Jamie,
Turning the graphical interface off in Nod32 3 is not yet possible, though
it'll be hopefully sometime soon.
Cheers,
Amro
