[jaws-uk] Re: New TV licensing website is broken for screen reader users?

Hi,

It's a nightmare and badly coded I reckon, maybe Léoné or someone with good 
knowledge of html can look at the source code and see if something jumps out at 
them? I see JS  in there and $ signs as well so maybe it's some kind of 
javascript or php function that's not compatible with, or not set up properly 
for a screen reader.

You can left mouse click the category, to do with being 74, which is a 
selection by default and the other options then display, then left mouse the 
blind option but it's all very messy.

They are a read only edit, or that's what jaws says, look at the contact us
section.  It says read only edit, but is a drop down list.

is the new UK TV licensing website broken for screen reader users?
 
using jaws for windows v11, and v 10, drop down lists don't work.  Nor do
they with System access latest version which is  "System Access 3.0.155".
 
any thoughts?
