[jaws-uk] Re: New Installation.

Steve,

Assuming you have installed a newer version of jfw and retained the
existing one, bring up the jaws window for your new version, alt U to
utilities, and the first option is merge utility, at least it is in this
7.0 version I'm still using. When you click on that, it will show you
all versions of jfw you have active on your hard drive.

I still have 6.2 on mine, so I would then simply tab to the Ok button
and hit enter. This will pull across all my 6.2 settings into the new
installation.

The only thing after that is if you have any scripts you have downloaded
or installed from the jfwlite website or any other independent author of
jfw customised scripts, you may need to manually cut and paste over to
your latest jfw enu folder, again, assuming they will work with the
update/upgrade you have installed.

Hth,

Robin.

Robin,

Please give me some more details about this merge facility. I've had to
do=20
everything again from scratch but it will be useful for another time.
