Hi List, can anyone help please? I am using Office 2003 and JAWS V7 and can't seem to keep 'Normal' checked permanently. I seem to have the reading layout permanently checked and, despite trying to uncheck (both using the 'enter' key and the space bar, I have to physically check 'Normal' every time when I want to read a document. I expect that, as with all computer things, the answer is very simple, but I can't find it. Regards Val. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joan Muir Sent: 09 March 2006 19:49 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: System Tray Thank you very much, Steve. You were correct. I had this checked and have now unchecked it. Now the system tray is well in view. Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Griffiths, Steve" <Steve.Griffiths@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2006 1:51 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: System Tray > Joan, > > I think this may be a Windows setting that's getting in the way of JAWS. > Try opening the Start menu and going into Settings submenu and choosing > TaskBar and Start menu.
