[jaws-uk] Re: Moving from JAWS5.1 to JAWS8

Moving from JAWS5.1 to JAWS8it depends what you want to do with jaws. There
are improvements in internet support for sure and you need to learn some new
keystrokes there. They are one keystroke away though when on the internet.
just press jaws key -- h and you will be able to list them.

JAWS 8 supports Microsoft Office 2003 and parts of Office 2007 as well, though
I believe the calendar and powerpoint in Office 2007 are not yet supported,
could be wrong here.

Office 2003 is quite similar to Office 2000 for many basic tasks however from a
jaws user's perspective.

At the moment I am using JAWS5.1but in the near future will be moving onto
JAWS8, how steep is the learning curve likely to be?
