Thanks George.

I appreciate what you say about shortcut keys and do use them most of the time
for save, print, font, tables etc, but how on earth do you move through the
menu? Does anyone know? As for the help, I never use them because they always
leave you more confused than before!

  Hi Barbara,

There are program which will convert Office 2007's, but the ones I have seen
cost something.

The irony of it all is that screen reader users have far less problems with
Office 2007 than sighted users, simply because the vast majority of keyboard
shortcuts have been carried over from Office 2003 and earlier.

And believe me, speaking from a sighted perspective, if I can't work out how
to do something and can't find it in the atrocious Help files, my next port of
call is a skilled blind user.

  George.

  Hi All

I've just installed MS Office 2007. I believe someone a while back commented
on the rather complicated ribbon structure of the menu. Complicated is putting
it mildly!

Firstly, is there some way of changing it to the classic structure as with
older versions of MS Word? And if not, is there somewhere I can get simple
instructions on how to navigate through the ribbon layout?

  Many thanks for advice received.

  Barbara
