[jaws-uk] Re: Looking for mailing list for V I Vista users

No, I'm using a desk top, I don't like lap tops and besides I use forms mode to find "type message" edit field. There seems to be a lot of changes going on so I think hotmail will be updating me soon to hotmail live, so any glitches I'm putting down to that, and as it was a tempory fault I can rule out a virus. I know what you mean about the lap tops with a mouse pad just below the space bar, I suppose it is ok for someone who doesn't use the keyboard much and the college wasn't too happy with me when I told them it wasn't suitable for V I's and they had to purchase seperate keyboards to use with their new lap tops

Hi George and Susan,

I am guessing that Susan is using a laptop with one of those annoying mouse
touch pads.

The slightest brush of a sleeve or thumb causes the mouse pointer to skip
somewhere other than where you expect it to be so that you end up typing at
the end or sometimes in the middle of previous messages.

I use a separate standard keyboard because I prefer the layout and to avoid
the touch pad.
