[jaws-uk] Re: Licence codes for Jaws.

The SMA entitles you to two consecutive upgrades to Jaws, i.e. someone who bought Jaws 8 and paid for a SMA would be entitled to Jaws 9 and 10 for a reduced cost (it would be covered by the SMA).
When you purchase Jaws you get (I think) 3 activations and, when you have used these you can ask Freedom Scientific for further activations.

Hi sue not sure if I understand but when you bought Jaws how many SMa's did you pay for? I paid after a big jump from Jaws 4.51.51 Jaws 7 but I paid extra for Sma or is it Sma,you know what I mean, tithe last update of Jaws was my last for that initial price, the updates since Version 9 are updates on Version nine, if I were to check by going into Jaws and looking it would tell me I have now used them all up. So when the next Issue of Jaws comes out I shall have to buy it. Mind you you should know yourself as the information you may bbe given may be not correct, I recall being told I had used all my SMa's up when I knew I had no sorry about spelling, also if you had a Cd or more the
one with a long number of 20 numbers and letters is the one you paid for and the rest the Updates, do not forget where you put that CD, many lose track of it. Hi.
I've been using Jaws for 3 years now. I started with version 6, and I recently upgraded to version 9 and I've installed the latest free updates since upgrading to Jaws 9. I'm just wondering how the number of licence codes that you get works, are they counted from when you first install Jaws, or are they counted from when you do an upgrade like I did from 6 to 9. I'm asking this question because I've ran out of licence codes so I'm wondering how they are calculated.
