Hi Joan,
This is not to say that you are doing it wrong, but on here when the Jaws
hotkey went bananas, and that happened a couple of times, I had to first set
the hotkey to none, hit ok to save, then open properties again and redefine the
hotkey and then it worked.
BTW, I'm like you use Alt Control J as my Jaws hotkey.

Well, Amro, I tried creating a new hot key but it wouldn't accept it and kept
saying "none". I was trying to use control+shift +j which I've used before.
When I entered the original hotkey of alt +control+j it accepted that.
It still won't come on again though so I'm stymied. I hesitate to do a repair
in case I lose my settings so I'll probably just have to live with it.

Joan, not really a solution but why not redefine the hotkey you use for
Jaws and maybe place a fresh Jaws shortcut on the desktop and see if that
works. I know that sounds crazy but I had to once or twice redefine the hotkey
I use for Jaws even though the hotkey appeared defined alright in Properties.

Hi, Folks,
Using Jaws 11.
This problem has just started and I blamed BT Broadband help which I
downloaded recently. However, I've uninstalled this and still have the Jaws
problem.
It simply will not re-start when I want it to. Even tried hitting J on
the desktop and entering butno joy there either. I've checked that the hot key
is still shown. The only thing I can do is to re-boot.
Can anyone suggest what I should do?
