You could raise that point with Fs Kevin, sue will have to go on in Demo
Mode, I did it for weeks in the past not knowing why I could not register
Jaws, that was when the Engineer from Viglen put on Xp Professional on my
Home xp computer, incidentally does the supplier have say just 1 member
of staff doing cover for the weekend? The Us has a Bank holiday in 2
days the 28th they are 5 hours behind us if sue could try contacting them
it may be worth while. re the error she has I know so little but once
someone told me to do something I think using the Print Screen button and
copy and paste the error onto a clipboard. I cannot say I managed to do
it but I am sure you or David W Wood will know what I mean then someone
can read that error message. Dorothy

Hi sue,
Exactly the same thing happened when I increased the memory of my desktop
PC. As David says, just reactivate Jaws. In my situation I'd run out of
activations so had to contact FS who arranged for a new activation (3 to
be precise) to be provided.
Its a little annoying that Jaws doesn't seem to be able to know the
difference between someone installing Jaws on a completely different PC
and a person who is merely adding additional memory to an already
existing PC on which Jaws is already installed.
Regards,
Kevin

Sue:
JAWS activation has noticed that you have altered your hardware
configuration, which presumably is stored on the FS database.
Just run with the re-activation.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws activation.
Hi.
I've got the latest version of Jaws installed on my machine, and I've
just
increased my memory by putting in a 1 gig memory chip. The computer has
recognised it but when I start the machine up now, I get the start
activation dialogue box for Jaws when this has already been done. When
I
press next, the number is displayed as normal so I'm not sure why it's
doing
this. Please could anyone tell me?
Thanks.
Sue.
