[jaws-uk] Jaws 7.1

Hi

Any ideas on this one.

I play an on-line card game and run MSn 7.5 at the same time.

I am able to play the game and use MSN at the same time with no interruption
to anybody. Whilst playing using Jaws 7 I am alerted of an mSN message by a
jingle and when appropriate so as not to hinder the card game I can Alt tab
to the conversation window and read and reply to the message and then Alt
tab back to the card game, all works well.

However using jaws 7.1 when alerted of an MSn message I do not get a jingle
but a message telling me that the sender is typing me a message and this is
just repeated repeatedly until I Alt tab to the conversation window, so I
now have the card game noises playing and MSn repeating the same message
about who is typing me a message.

Is it possible to stop jaws 7.1 to stop repeating this message as this does
interrupt the game, obviously I sometimes cannot alt tab to the conversation
window straightaway as it might be my turn on the card game, and I am now in
a situation where I am trying to hear the card game and have jaws 7.1
repeatedly repeating the MSn message. It just does not work.

Jaws 7 works a treat with these two programs, I just get the jingle alerting
me of the message and then I can Alt tab to the conversation window when
convenient to do so, there is no dam repeating of a message hindering the
card game.

Jaws 7.1 does not work anywhere near as well on the HSBC web site either. A
lot of announcing of two fields when in just one, you are not sure which
field you are in.

I am noticing a lot of peculiarities on web pages using 7.1 which jaws 7
deals with just fine.

Regards

Graham
