If you can direct Jaws to the other installation folders then it should be
fine.  It tends to search only the one drive where Windows is for other
installations to merge from.  Please be aware that merging from below
version 5.0 may not give very good results.  If you have dictionary files
from 4.5 or below you may be better off copying those accross to your Jaws
6.0 user settings folder.

Dear all,

I have just gone over to Windows XP home. I am using Jaws 6.0.

I now have two hard disks, C and F. When my helper installed Jaws, he
installed it onto the F drive, from f:\Windows, etc.

I am wishing to merge settings, but when I go into merge, Jaws tells me it
can't find a version, or words to that effect. Should I then browse and type
in the F drive location.
Will the Merge utility then work, please?
