Hi Robin et al
Some questions answered.
Q1: "What if you decide not to install over the top of this version, will it
run forever under queller authorisation"
A: The version will simply expire, this is coded internally to Jaws and
nothing to do with the authorisation key itself. Therefore earlier versions
if they are installed will continue to run. Therefore you can also read
into that also you will be able to install a Jaws 5.10 on a machnie and it
will continue to run.

Hi all, especially the gurus at S 'n S and Techno S....
I'm sure more info will be to hand soon, and I don't want to open a can
of worms here, but this is just a little grey area that I can't quite
fully see how things will transpire beyond March 15.
Taking Tris's line, of installing the new CD over the top of your
existing queller version, jfw 6.00.406... What if you decide not to
install over the top of this version, will it run forever under queller
authorisation,, or is FS's Eric Dammery going to pop up as soon as you
connect to the internet, and tell you your version of jaws ain't
working?
My reason for asking, is, I have got two telephone exchange rooms here,
with an old pc attached, and I have a jfw key on them,as I often need to
go down and do moves and changes in telnet type sessions. Now, it's
unlikely, but what if for some reason, as they're connected to the
college network, I need to perhaps go onto the net for some info...
I've also got a key on the home pc, and the final one on my laptop here,
so the news about 3 ILM's concerns me, unless, like I say, the queller
versions will continue to function, in which case, the telephone pc's
will be ok to leave. If not, then I would uninstall and revert back to
jfw5 for them, and probably the laptop too.
In short, if you connect to the net with jfw6.00.406 queller, I can't
see how they can screw this up, can they?
Kind regards,
Robin Clayden, Switchboard.
