Dear Jim and list:
This is not a cure for your problem, but a workaround would be to
change the time of day AVG scans for viruses to be in the dead of
night if you do not normally use your PC at that time.
You may wish to contact your JAWS dealer or Sight and Sound for
technical support on JAWS and Grisoft, the makers of AVG for tech
support on AVG.
