Hi George,=20
this is now normal behaviour. In fact there have over time been three
distinct methods within the Outlook scripts concerning how attachments
are handled: priot to 7.0, 7.0 itself and 7.10 - the current.
Because of the newly introduced enhanced edit support, allowing for
embedded objects to be detected within text fields such as the
attachment edit. The concept is that you press INSERT+A, then use the
left and right arrows to move through and press enter on the appropriate
attachment.
At the moment I will not go into the difficulties jaws users had with
the previous methods, but this seems more reliable.

Hi Steve,
Given that there have been at least two responses on JAWS-UK confirming
your findings, I have taken the liberty of escalating your report.
It may simply be that you were "the first".
George.

I've installed the 7.10.452 release and am using it with Outlook 2003 on
two PCs. On both machines, the Insert + A keystroke no longer creates a
dialogue with the attachment names, instead it moves the PC cursor to
the start of the attachment read-only edit. I've mentioned it to the
main UK supplier and they say no-one else has reported it.
Is anyone else getting this?
Steve
