[jaws-uk] Re: JAWS 7 AND BRAILLE TABLE

That depends on what you mean by correct. I think this is one of those
unwinnable arguments which just depends on people's preference. I use my own
version of British Computer Braille, as defined by the BCAB several years ago,
and find this is best for my computer Braille needs. I can't remember what I
based the original file on, but it contains mappings for French E acute, German
Umlauts, etc. which are all distinct, and in some cases look very similar to
the French an German 6 dot equivalents, rather than just marking them a san
accent with dot 4.

Interestingly, in JAWS 6 plus, (didn't try this in earlier versions), when you
switch JAWS into grade 2, it doesn't seem to matter what Braille table you are
using, so it is presumably using Unicode dot patterns in this case.

Pick US Unicode, as it will have the correct accent signs (dot4, etc.)

Can any one please tell me the name of the Jaws Braille Table file used
by
version 7. In previous versions it has been called US437.JBT. I have
modified the US437.JBT file in version 7 but the changes are not being
picked up.
