yes if someone really wants to get onto your network then they will.

One thing you can do however which could help is to turn the transmit power 
of your wireless output down so it works over less distance.  On my ;phone 
it can be set between 100MW, 10 Mw and 4 MW.

Wifi tends to eat phone battery ;power too

Having only WEP is a bit naff these days which is possibly a patent issue 
rather than a technical one, of course not a foregone conclusion that you 
are going to get done but it is possible to break if you have the knowledge 
(or the software kit).  MAC address filtering is not very good security it 
will not deter anything other than casual hopping onto your network, MAC 
addresses can be faked because they are/have to be sent in the clear.  So 
long as you are vigilant of the risk this may be OK.
