[jaws-uk] Re: Internet banking.

Hello Carol

I have been online banking with Barclays for a few years now and find that
jaws works absolutely fine with both the front end of Barclays web site
(e.g. logging on) and then using all of their services is both simple and
compatible with Jaws.

Does anyone know what "workable" means so far as Barclays is concerned? I
sometimes think about migrating from telephone banking to Internet but never
quite take that plunge, but would be interested in more details so far as
Barclays is concerned.

Thanks.

Robin,

I do not know about business accounts - in fact, a lot of the Internet banks
aren't aimed at business accounts. However, if you have found one, so much
the better.

HSBC is about as accessible as they come. But also, smile (Co-Op), cahoot,
Barclays, Alliance and Leicester are all workable. As I say, I'm not sure
most of them do online business accounts - you'd have to check.

In my experience, nowadays most of the actual banking areas are reasonably
accessible with JAWS, though the websites leading to them may be less so.
They are all much better than they used to be.

Regards,

Norman
