Turning images off has the benefit pages load faster. But since most of us 
are on broadband or faster then this setting isn't necessary for improved
internet experience. For reference, you can turn off show pictures in
Internet Options, under the advanced tab.

I have just been advised that if I "turn images off" my internet
experience
will be a lot easier.

I am not sure about this, will I still know if there is an image on
screen,
but it will not be loaded, or will I start to lose knowledge of some of

content of a page?

If it is worth doing, how is it done?  Is this an IE option, or something
in
Jaws?
