Hi Sue,
The following is for Windows Media Player 10, but I'm sure
the same principal will apply if you have an earlier
version.
Go to Tools, and select Options. Navigate to the "File
Types" control tab. There you will see a list of file types
for which you can make Media Player the default. Further
down the dialog, there is a check box to allow you to select
ALL file types, this making WMP your default for all file
types.

Hi Ron.
Thanks for your help. I've downloaded real player but when
I play music through my music, it plays through real player
instead of media player like it always used to do so I'm
wondering how to change it as I'd prefer to play my tracks
through media player.
Sorry to be such a pain but at least I can listen to the
radio online now.

can get all three main players free. I think it is
Realplayer 10.
