[jaws-uk] Re: Help please.

dots 2-6 - ASCII braille 5 - signifies a question mark in the UK
computer braille code. (The same combo is used in French and at least
some other foreign-language codes for the question mark. [Hurray for
the downloadable braille (.BRF) files from www.bauk.org.uk- for which
you need either an embosser to emboss or a braille display to read.]

Hi Michael,

Not being the font of all knowledge - I cribbed my answer
from http://www.bauk.org.uk where I went to their
publications page.

Now it's your turn to go cribbing! (smile)

George.

Hi George,

Thanks for that one, but what does an EN sign (that is a
lower E) in braille computer coding mean?
Thanks again,

Michael.

Hi Mike,

Lower g in UK computer braille is an equals sign.

George.

Hi Folks,

can anyone help please? My first question
is; I've tried to use the find feature with ctrl+F in
Notepad but it does not appear to work? It does work however
in Word 2000 which I have installed.

Does the find feature of ctrl+F only work in
Word then? and not in Notepad?

My second question is off topic, and not
Jaws related, but I wondered if someone can tell me? What
does a braille EN sign and a lower G sign mean in braille
computer coding? that is in a website address?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again,

Michael Brown.
