[jaws-uk] Re: Help please.

Hi Tink,

Thanks for the alternative suggestion of using F3 to bring up the Find
dialogue box. Actually I am reading text from a downloaded file from R N I
B. of The New Book Guide, which has gone into Notepad. (Incidentally I don't
know which version of Notepad it is). The first time I tried the keystroke
F3 and typed in the section heading Talking Books and entered on Find Next,
it worked and took me to this section heading for the March edition.

However when I went into the next file in Notepad of the April edition of
New Book Guide and again used F3 to bring up the Find dialogue box as you
suggested, and then again typed in the section heading Talking Books, and
entered on Find Next, it didn't work, with jaws saying something like, Find
dialogue, cannot find Talking Books, O K. button, which I entered on to get
out of it.

It seems to hit and miss doesn't it? By the way I have Jaws version 4.5.1
with X P Home Edition.

Any further help appreciated, and thanks for the help to date.

Michael.
