Dorothy,
The graphics that are being announced to you are exactly that, they are
graphical symbols that may or may not be useful to you. The graphics
labeller will attempt to look at the graphics and rename them more usefully
for you. So, say you have a window that opens up that announces graphic
356, you could start the graphics labeller with control + Jaws key + G and
it may rename it something like "email".
Remember that a lot of the time these graphics are simply making the page
look good and are not of any use and you may find that the graphics labeller
does not rename anything at all. Most of the time, the important buttons
are accessible without the graphics labeller so always try using the Jaws
cursor to make sense of the window.
Hope this helps.
Karl

doing a reply on this. You should cover your mouth when you yawn anyway
what does it mean in Jaws language when you are told a serious error has
occurred after that it says what sounds like GT Lines it then says
Graphics 392 it also mentioned Graphics 55 In jaws language what does this
mean? I have had this serious error message for a while on and off, for all
I know you may be used to hearing Microsoft serious error warnings I am
not however. In addition whilst on the one hand it mentioned compiling a
report when I put it on late last night it said do not send as if it would
damage the system. Is there not something called a Graphics labeller? If so
in your great experience perhaps you can tell me what the Graphic means?
finally any problem I have brought to this page has been directly due to a
Jaws problem, That is as Jaws in Freedom Scientific and only they really
knew the answer, it may not trouble you it did me as I an not a Business a
Charity etc I am a woman at home alone who knew beyond all doubt Now if
you know what Microsoft would want and what those Graphic numbers mean do
tell and remember sir, to cover your mouth when you yawn. that a problem was
not her fault Ok you do not give a dam Remember it was a Jaws probllelm
Jaws and could not have been more so. You sir, you phone Freedom then? Ask
for Bryan Carver and ask, just ask He is not Director of Sales now but of
Technical support. n, I do. Dorothy.
