[jaws-uk] Re: Geneology

Hi Alexander and Andrew,

I have just checked and Family tree maker 2006 is listed on Amazon.co.uk for
release in March.

I know nothing about it but it will be important to ensure that you get a UK
and Ireland version if it includes historical databases.

Also, it would be advisable to check if the database searches are in some
kind of text format.

Regards,

Phil Medway.

Hi Andrew,

You couldn't have asked the question at a better time.

I've just been sorting out a program I have on my computer called Family
Tree Maker. It is American and you may need to pay for it in Dollars but it
seems to be JFW friendly as I am using it with JFW version 7

I am afraid I can not give any details of a website to go to to obtain it
as, if I remember correctly, it was purchased for me when I was living in
America some years ago.
