Well, he knows his stuff, perhaps too well! However, there are on-line resources one can go to for the basics of computer terminology. One such, which I've just visited to check how it's doing, is at:

And the interface is clean. In the edit field, enter for forms mode, and You type in the term or phrase whose meaning you want defined. Enter again to begin the search. Also links to other useful on-line sources.
