Tink's advice is good. Speaking from a support point of view, it is quite often extremely helpful when someone is able to illustrate a problem which occurs with a new version which did NOT happen with the previous, or an earlier version. It also gives us an extremely powerful means of tackling the software development guys along the lines of, "Hey, it worked before, so it looks like you may have broken it!" That usually stops them dead in their tracks. Wendy, Pete, I keep so many versions on my machine because I work as a web developer and accessibility consultant, so I often find I need to look =3D up a web site using different versions of Jaws. Pete's problems with certain JavaScript driven sites and Jaws 8.0 is a case in point. I've got a few other screen readers and access technologies on my computer at work, as well as all the Jaws versions. Untidy, but =3D necessary I'm afraid. *Smile. Wendy, I'm sure Tink will reply to your question, but I have a similar =3D situation here, having all versions from 5.10 up to 8.0. Last week I was helping someone to upgrade from version 4.50 to 4.51, and he wanted to merge settings from his previous version. I sent him to the utilities submenu =3D to find merge but he couldn't find it, so I ran 5.10 and realised that in versions prior to 6 the merge utility is actually in the tools submenu, =3D so of course I was then able to direct him to the right place.
