Hi Steve,
I hope this is what you are asking for, when your database has loaded, press
Ault+F9, this will change the shape of the curser.
Regards
Chris.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Flashing Cursor.
Hi listers,
Several months ago on this list someone raised the question of how to turn
off the flashing cursor or, something similar when reading web pages with Jaws.
I write concerning a similar kind of problem. At work I am trying to get Jaws
to work with a database package which has a flashing cursor i.e. wherever the
cursor is located Jaws will constantly speak the first letter of the particular
field as this flashes when the cursor is on it. How if it should be possible
to do it, can I turn off this option. Is there a setting within Jaws? Due to
the nature of the particular application from a visual point of view turning
this off is out of the question but, it reminds me of an earlier posting
someone sent relating to web pages.
Steve
