[jaws-uk] FS VideoIntercept problems

Hi all

Recently had to restore settings on my PC without loosing data.
However, since then each time on startup a message comes up asking to install FS VideoIntercept and re-start the computer. 

I have done this numerous times and from Jaws 8 itself but no luck.
I also did it from Ad/Remove programmes; seemingly successfully, but still the message comes up. 

I am using XP Home with SP2.
It appears that the problem might be caused by low colour resolution but I'm not sure.
I repaired jaws, installed the VideoIntercept package from the freedomscientific site too.
When filling in forms or using Word, no characters are read out on navigating through the text already written.
All pages, be it using IE7, Word, Eudora, etc. appear blank when using the Jaws cursor.
